The center provides emergency and inpatient psychiatric treatment and evaluation for adults and adolescents who live in the Antelope, San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys. After immediate treatment in the emergency room, arrangements can be made for hospitalization if indicated, or referral for continuing care in the community. The agency accepts voluntary and involuntary patients, and primarily serves low income people who are severely and chronically mentally ill. However, anyone may apply in an emergency.
