The agency provides welfare-to-work services for individuals in Los Angeles County who are under the care of the Department of Mental Health for mental health services. Services include adolescent/youth counseling, child guidance, family counseling, in person crisis intervention, mental health counseling, psychiatric case management and psychiatric medication monitoring. There are no geographic restrictions.

Welfare to Work Supportive Mental Health Services are provided to adults that are referred through the DPSS/CalWORKs program.

Services in this program include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, medication evaluation and support and case management. The purpose of this program is to help clients overcome mental health barriers to their returning to or starting to work or go to school/training. TANF recipients or people who are eligible to receive CalWORKs and live in the southeast area ( SPA 7) of Los Angeles. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Interested parties should contact their local DPSS office; appointment required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for clients referred through the DPSS/CalWORKs program.
