Adolescent/Youth Counseling
Provider: BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF VENICE
The agency provides counseling services to people who live in Los Angeles County. Services include anger management for children and adults, child/adolescent counseling, family counseling, couples counseling, general counseling, a court ordered parenting program, and parenting skills development. There are no geographic restrictions.
Services are provided by Airport Marina Counseling Center. Staff provide separate anger management classes for children and adults; classes meet weekly for a period of 20 weeks and focus on conflict resolution. The parenting classes run for 10 sessions; staff will provide progress reports to the courts. Parenting classes may be available in English and Spanish. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE The fee for parenting classes is $80 for 10 sessions. There are no fees for anger management or counseling services for members of the Boys and Girls Club of Venice.
