The agency provides post-secondary education services for individuals in Los Angeles County. Services include adult basic education, commuinity college districts, community colleges, computer and related technology classes, english as a second language, extension education, subject tutoring, and vocational education. There are geographic restrictions for some programs.

Community education for non-credit courses includes classes in business, beauty occupations, computer applications, preparation for notary public (including state testing and certificate) personal enrichment, physical fitness and wellness. A Kids college provides tutoring for grade school age children for math and reading skills.

Distance learning provides an online curriculum in computer literacy, including basic keyboarding and Internet navigation, as well as programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and skills such as web site building and networking computers.

The supportive services available for students and people who are entering the college include the customary guidance and counseling. The college also provides special services for students who have disabilities, for students who are economically disadvantaged, and for people who need assistance to develop academic and vocational plans.
