Adult Diversion


The agency provides counseling services for adults in the San Pedro, Wilmington and surrounding areas. Services include adult diversion, anger management, clinical psychiatric evaluation for adults, drug/alcohol testing, shoplifting prevention, and spouse/domestic partner abuse programs. Classes are court approved. There are no geographic restrictions.

Adult diversion classes include PC 1000 Drug Diversion.

Anger management classes are offered separately to adolescents and to adults. They consist of 8 weekly 2-hour sessions taking place for adolescents on Saturdays and adults on weekdays.

The clinical psychiatric evaluation for adults provides mental health assessment for DCFS referred individuals. Services are provided on an individual basis.

Drug and alcohol testing is provided for individuals who are currently taking classes and for those individuals who are receiving secondary services.

Secondary services include outpatient counseling for individuals who are on parole or probation.

A 52-week Spouse/domestic partner abuse program is offered for adults on weekdays. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in to apply; appointments are preferred. Referrals are accepted from courts, probation officers, and DCFS. Agency has a 24 hour, seven day a week message center for program inquiries. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE One time enrollment fees are $60 per program. Additional fees are $30 per session on a sliding scale; proof of income is required.
