The agency provides domestic violence services and victims of crime support for court-mandated people who live, primarily in the San Fernando Valley. The program targets low-income people and the Spanish-speaking community. Services include adult diversion, anger management, and spouse/domestic partner abuse counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.

211 L A County refers only to this private practices' court-approved child abuse and domestic violence services and its free victims of crime support services; it does not refer to private practices for general mental health services.

Child abuse services include a child abusers' treatment program, which includes group therapy for people involved in the abuse or neglect of children. The program is a 52 week course approved by the Los Angeles County Probation Department.

Domestic violence services include court-approved batterers programs for men and for women. The 52 week program is approved by the Los Angeles County Probation Department. Bi-lingual facilitators are available for Spanish-speaking clients.

The agency also provides an anger management program for referred clients from criminal court, the Department of Children and Family Services and the City Attorney's Office. The program is 12 weeks in length.

A 52-week sex-offenders treatment program is provided for people referred by the criminal and dependency courts or the city attorney's office.

The agency provides group and conjoint therapy sessions for victims of crime such as children victims of abuse and neglect and their families, and for battered women. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply; an appointment is required. Court referrals must bring a court case number or a police report number. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees are set on a sliding scale beginning at $20. There are no fees for battered women's groups or for group and conjoint therapy sessions for victims of child abuse and their families. Private insurance is accepted; assistance from the Victims of Crime Fund is also available.
