The agency provides counseling services for individuals in Los Angeles County. Services include adult divesion, anger management, co-parenting workshops, court ordered parenting programs, family preservation programs, intensive family reunification services, legal issues information/education, parent child interactive therapy, sex offender counseling, and spouse/domestic partner abuse counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.

The program provides separate groups for men and women batterers that include education about anger recognition and control, domestic violence, stress reduction, substance abuse and thought restructuring. Groups are ongoing; participants attend for 52 weekly sessions. The program provides reports to the courts and probation department.

Court-ordered parenting classes as well as Co-Parenting groups, and Parent Child Interactive Therapy are tailored to the orders of the court depending on the issues involved. The PCIT Program works with a program called Hands-On Parenting. All faciitators are MFT therapists.

Court-ordered classes called Rights and Responsibilities are conducted for people charged with such anti-social crimes as graffitti vandalism, petty theft or shoplifting, writing bad checks and other crimes against the community. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Walk in during intake hours to apply. Applicants must present court case number and papers, driver's license number and social security number; proof of income is required. An intake session is scheduled before the participant attends a group session. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees are set on a sliding scale that ranges from $30 to $150 per session for individual counseling; and $25 to $60 for group sessions. Family preservation and reunification services are set on a sliding scale based on income.
