The agency provides administrative services as the Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging. The department oversees a wide variety of supportive services for older adults in Los Angeles County. Services include information and referral and speakers bureaus. See the separate entries under L A County WDACS. Age restrictions apply; there are no geographic restrictions. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information. The toll-free number automatically forwards the call to the caller's local Area Agency on Aging, so a City of Los Angeles caller would get the City AAA. If the caller is forwarded to another agency, they will be able to transfer the call. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
