The program provides donor services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include automobile donation programs and blood banks. There are no geographic restrictions.

Staff collect donations of blood and blood products from volunteer donors and then processes and distributes them to hospitals. It also includes a program through which donors may designate their blood for a specific patient. Mobile services are available for blood drives at community locations.

Staff evaluate the make, model, year and condition of the car before accepting vehicle donations. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call the specified number to donate. All blood donors are screened; this includes a questionnaire about exposure to certain diseases or conditions and screening for blood iron level, blood pressure, and temperature. Donors must be 17 years of age, 110 lbs. and in good health to donate blood. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
