Cancer Clinics ( Low Income )


The center provides outpatient health services for low-income adults age 18 and older in Los Angeles. Services include cancer clinics, dermatology, diabetes management clinics, general medical care, internal medicine, opthamology, optometry, podiatry/foot care, and private clinics. The service area is the local community within a 5-mile radius and service is restricted to clients who live within this radius. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply; an appointment is required for service. Documentation includes proof of income and proof of residence.

Call the Patient Financial Services number or visit the website for information about financial assistance. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees are set on a sliding scale for people who have verification of a limited income. Medi-Cal, Medicare and private insurance are accepted.

Financial assistance may be available for qualified individuals with low income. People with income and monetary assets at or below 200% of the federal poverty level may apply for full (no charge) assistance. People with income and monetary assets within the range of 201% to 450% of the federal poverty level may apply for partial (discounted) assistance. Other discounts may be available on a sliding scale based on family size and income level.
