The center provides adult day care for people with Alzheimer's Disease or other dementia, Parkinson's Disease, or who are recovering from stroke or depression who live in West Los Angeles and surrounding communities. Services include adult day program centers, caregiver/care receiver support groups and disease/disability information.

The day care program includes speech therapy, art therapy, music therapy, T'ai Chi, chair exercise, reminiscence groups, arts and crafts, and entertainment. Support services for family members of clients include individual, family and group counseling; weekly support groups for adult children, spouses, and paid caregivers of persons with dementia. The groups offer emotional support and problem-solving techniques; they also provide information about community resources. Monthly informational seminars concerning aging are provided to the community. Some services provided to participants virtually through telehealth. LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH None; staff speak a variety of languages. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information. An intake interview is required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees for service.
