Case/Care Management ( TANF Recipients, Abused Women )

The agency provides welfare-to-work support services for battered women who are TANF recipients, and who live in the communities of Glendale, Pasadena and the West San Gabriel Valley. The agency provides domestic violence services for CalWORKs eligible women. Services include case/care management, individual advocacy, and spouse/domestic partner abuse counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.

The program provides case management services; spousal abuse counseling, both individual counseling and group therapy; legal advocacy and legal services.

Women may call for assistance even if they are not currently enrolled in CalWORKs. Case management staff will help the person apply for TANF. People who qualify for CalWORKs and who are in need of domestic violence services are entitled to counseling services and may extend their CalWORKs eligibility period until treatment is completed.
