Case/Care Management ( TANF Recipients, Abused Women )

The program provides welfare-to-work support services for domestic violence victims who receive or are eligible to receive CalWORKs and live in Los Angeles County and for other low-income residents of Los Angeles. Services include case/care management, crime victim accompaniment services, certificates/forms assistance, child custody/visitation assistance, child support assistance/enforcement, divorce assistance, individual advocacy, legal counseling, legal representation, spouse/domestic partner abuse counseling, temporary restraining orders and welfare rights assistance for eligible battered women. There are no geographic restrictions.

Transportation assistance in the form of bus fare and taxi vouchers is provided. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. An appointment is required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
