The agency provides family life education for parents in Los Angeles County. Services include court ordered parenting programs, parenting skills classes and child abuse prevention for court ordered individuals. There are no geographic restrictions.

The program provides individual, group and family therapeutic parenting programs. Parents at risk of family violence, participate in an interactive program with their children to learn to establish a nurturing environment in their home. Sessions are conducted by licensed therapists and student interns under the supervision of professional staff. Parent counseling is offered to some participants.

Child abuse prevention education is available for court ordered individuals. The program teaches non-offending parents and caregivers how to avoid potentially abusive situations and how to recognize the signs of abuse. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply.
