The program provides adult education for people in Los Angeles. Services include child care instruction for adult operators of family child care homes and vocational education in health-related fields. There are no geographic restrictions.

Child care instruction for day care providers meets current state licensing requirements for operators of family child care homes.

Vocational training is provided in food safety training, home health aide, and nurse assistant (Certified Nurses Assistant - CNA). The courses are approved by DHS and the Bureau for Private and Post-Secondary Vocational Education. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees for these courses; WIOA participants pay no fees.
