Provider: UCLA RESNICK NEUROPSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL - CHILD AND ADOLESCENT SERVICES - INPATIENT PROGRAM

The program provides inpatient psychiatric treatment services for children younger than age 18 who are mentally ill or who have developmental disabilities. The facilities include an inpatient unit for boys and girls age 3 to 17. Treatment for both children and adolescents usually continues from two weeks to two months. The program provides treatment for children who have mental illness as well as developmental disabilities including mental retardation, autism, epilepsy, and psychosomatic problems. Specialized evaluation and treatment programs are available for young people who have mood disorders and eating disorders.
