Clinical Psychiatric Evaluation ( Bipolar Disorder, Youth )

The program provides mental health services for youth ages seven to 17 and 11 months in Los Angeles County. Services include clinical psychiatric evaluation for bipolar disorder, with a focus on pediatric disorders. There are no geographic restrictions.

CHAMP provides diagnostic evaluations, second opinion consultations, and short-term treatments for youth who have symptoms of significant and impairing mood disorders, and their families. An initial diagnostic evaluation is given in two sessions. Treatment and/or recommendations including medication and psychosocial therapy may be available in additional sessions.

Eligible patients may be offered participation in free research studies. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply; an appointment is required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees vary; most private insurances are accepted.
