The clinic provides counseling and special education assessment services for low-income people of all ages. Services include conjoint, individual and family counseling for adolescents and adults. Topics may range from relationship and life transition problems to anxiety and depression. There are no geographic restrictions.

Counseling types may include adult incest survivor counseling, bereavement counseling, child abuse counseling, child guidance, clinical psychiatric counseling, crime victim/witness counseling, cultural transition counseling, health/disability related counseling, divorce counseling, elder abuse counseling, employment transition counseling, gambling counseling/treatment, gender identity counseling, general counseling services, geriatric counseling, health problems counseling, holocaust counseling, intelligence testing, marriage counseling, overspender counseling, parent abuse counseling, parent counseling, postabortion counseling, perinatal/postpartum depression counseling, premarital counseling, psychiatric disorder counseling, retirement counseling, runaway/homeless youth counseling, sexual assault counseling, sexual counseling, sexual orientation counseling, special education assessment, terminal illness counseling, veteran reintegration counseling, vocational assessment. There are no geographic restrictions.

The clinic does not provide crisis or emergency services and cannot accommodate people who have been referred by the courts, who are sexual or violent offenders, have drug or alcohol addiction, or people who require intensive psychiatric services for chronic or severe mental illness.

Counseling services for couples, families, children, and individuals include individualized therapy and may include different counseling approaches.

Clinical evaluation services may be integrated into therapy plans or conducted separately and include behavioral assessment, clinical assessment, neuropsychological screening, personality testing, and limited vocational assessment.

Staff provide education therapy for children and adults. Treatment plans are individualized and include diagnostic and evaluation services to address problems that interfere with school functioning such as ADD/ADHD, anxiety, conduct disorders, developmental disabilities, depression, emotional disorders and learning disabilities. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Appointments are required; call for an appointment. Following an initial telephone screening, clients will be assigned to a therapist for an intake session to develop a personal therapy plan. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE The clinic charges a $25 fee for the required intake session. Fees for individual therapy sessions are based on a sliding scale that ranges from $15 to $90.
