Clinical Trials ( HIV Infections, Children )
Provider: UCLA CARE 4 FAMILIES PROGRAM
The program provides comprehensive HIV/AIDS services for HIV-infected pregnant women and adolescents, HIV-exposed and infected infants and HIV-infected children. Services include HIV/AIDS clinics and clinical trials. Transportation, child care and home visits may be available to program participants. There are no geographic restrictions.
Participants receive rapid HIV testing, comprehensive clinical care, psychological support and access to clinical trials. Staff work with UCLA subspecialists trained in nephrology, gastroenterology, neurodevelopment, pulmonary diseases, dermatology and cardiology to provide coordinated care. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call, walk in or write to apply; an appointment is preferred. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services; Medi-Cal, Medicare and private insurance is accepted.
