Community Clinics
Provider: AAA COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE
This federally qualified health center provides community based health services for people of all ages in the Burbank area. Services include community clinics, contract clinics, childhood immunizations, family planning, general medical care, health education, nutrition education, pediatrics, prenatal care, STD testing and treatment and speakers/speakers bureaus. Transportation and home visits may be available. Services are restricted to residents of Burbank, North Hollywood and Van Nuys.
Comprehensive family planning services are provided through California's Family PACT program, for eligible low-income men and women who are under 200% of the federal poverty level. Services are confidential and include education, family planning and pregnancy testing. Emergency contraception, traditional contraception and male and female sterilizations are available.
Staff are able to assist with health plan enrollment, including Medi-Cal and Medicare. Speakers are available to provide workshops and presentations on a variety of health issues.
The clinic is a My Health LA Community Partner Clinic and provides application and enrollment in the My Health LA plan. My Health LA covers low income individuals (age 6 to adults) in Los Angeles County that do not have health insurance and cannot qualify for Medi-Cal. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in to apply; an appointment is preferred. ID is required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services; Medi-Cal, Medicare and private insurance are accepted. Staff are available to assist with health plan enrollment.
