Computer and Related Technology Classes ( At Risk Youth )

The agency provides youth services for low-income, at risk youth, ages 11 to 18, who live in Los Angeles. Services include an adult/child mentoring programs, college/university entrance support, computer and related technology classes, gang programs, homework help programs, internship programs, job readiness, leadership development, prejob guidance for at-risk youth and recreational activities/sports.

The agency provides homework assistance, and workshops in subjects such as STEM subjects, art, photography, filmmaking, dance, choir and karate. The program also offers college preparation including SAT prep, FAFSA and application assistance, college tours and scholarship opportunities for students in our programs.

The agency offers case/care management for students who participate in the program. The case/care management program promotes positive academic outcomes and access to services for youth and their families, including legal aid and health referrals.

Job skills training and internship opportunities are offered through the WIOA program to young adults ages 14 to 21 who meet income or other eligibility requirements.

The agency participates in gang prevention as a provider for Rampart/Pico Union in the Gang Reduction and Youth Development program of the City of Los Angeles. It also works closely with Virgil Middle School, Beyond the Bell, Wilshire Family Resource Center, AYES-WIOA. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information or walk in for service.
