The program provides a senior nutrition programs for seniors age 60 and older who reside in Paramount and the surrounding areas. Services include congregate meals/nutrition site and home delivered meals. People may come to the center for a hot lunch and may also participate in social and recreational activities. Home-delivered meals are for seniors who are unable to leave their homes to go to the center or who have difficulty preparing their own meals. Eligible people may apply for the weekday home-delivered noon meal service; frozen meals are delivered on weekdays for weekend and holiday use. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information or to apply; a reservation is required for the congregate meal. Call the designated number to register for home delivered meals. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There is a suggested donation of $2.25 per meal for the meal programs, but no one is turned away because of inability to pay.
