The agency provides transportation services for seniors age 62 and older and individuals of any age with disabilities on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Services include general paratransit/community ride programs. Services are restricted to the Palos Verdes Peninsula and some medical destinations in the nearby communities of Torrance, Harbor City, San Pedro, Lomita and Redondo Beach.

The Dial-A-Ride program operates five routes within the general Peninsula area. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Individuals must register for the program at the Palos Verdes Peninsula Transit Authority office at 38 Crest Road West, Rolling Hills, 90275 and provide proof of residence, age and disability if applicable.

Trips can be purchased in person or by sending a check to the PV Transit office at P.O. Box 2656, Palos Verde Peninsula, 90274, and are stored on a swipe card.

Call to schedule a pickup, ID may be required if the swipe card does not include a picture. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Registration fees are $10 per year, services are $12 round trip. Rides off the Palos Verdes Penninsula are $12 each way. A maximum of 24 rides can purchased per month. A caretaker can ride along at no additional charge.
