The Los Angeles County Development Authority is administering an Emergency Rent Assistance Program during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is a time limited resource that is currently available for application by individuals living in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles within Supervisorial Districts 1, 2, 4, and 5. The program will provide up to $1000 a month for three months to low income renters who have lost money due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Applications must be received by May 31, 2020, and assistance will be awarded by a lottery system at some time after May 31, 2020. All applicants will be notified whether or not they will receive an award.
