The council provides administrative services for family reproductive health agencies throughout Los Angeles County. The organization allocates funds and contracts with health institutions for the delivery of family reproductive health-related medical and support services. There are no geograpic restrictions.

As an administrative entity, the Council provides planning, evaluation, training, public awareness/education, online and printed materials; monitors contract compliance with federal and state guidelines; and provides technical support for contracting agencies. Contractors include hospitals, medical centers, county neighborhood health centers, community clinics, family planning corporations and comprehensive health centers.

Direct services for the public include referrals to contracting service providers. The agency also provides online listings and websites for teens and one for adults to search for clinics offering emergency contraception, family planning counseling, and information about contraception, STDs and HIV/AIDS. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information or a referral; visit the agency's website for more information. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fees for some of the services provided by this agency. Direct family planning services offered by contracting agencies are provided on a sliding scale. There are fixed fees for continuing education workshops.
