The agency provides domestic violence services for people in Los Angeles County. Services include counseling, a domestic violence hotline, prevention and education programs and technical assistance for other organizations. There are no geographic restrictions.

The domestic violence hotline offers support and crisis counseling, and also provides intake for the shelter and other agency services. The hotline gives callers information about domestic violence, substance use disorders, and the effects of both on families, and resources that can help the people involved. Staff provide referrals to a variety of services including medical and legal aid, law enforcement, counseling, advocacy, self-help groups, and support services for victims of domestic violence and their families.

The program also provides community education, prevention and training programs in a variety of settings. Speakers are available to present material about domestic violence, alcoholism, families of alcoholics, or the agency's services for community groups.

The agency offers technical assistance and training programs for other human service agencies to educate them about and sensitize them to the needs of women and children who are affected by domestic violence.
