Drop In Centers ( Transition Age Youth )
Provider: LOS ANGELES LGBT CENTER - YOUTH SERVICES
The center provides homeless support services primarily for youth identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and transition age youth (TAY) age 12 to 24, who are in the Hollywood area. Services include a homeless drop-in center, bathing facilities, clothing and grooming supplies, and outreach programs. There are no geographic restrictions.
A job center, GED and college preparation, showers, meals, computers, and laundry services are available. Outreach staff identify high-risk young adults, provide counseling on the streets or other locations, and involve young people in a process of exploring positive alternatives to their current lifestyles and linking them with employment, housing and other needed resources. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Walk in for service. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.

The Drop In Center for TAY age 18 to 24. Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm; Saturday and Sunday, 7:30am to 1:30pm.
