Drug Use Disorder Support Groups ( Amphetamine Use Disorder, LGBTQ Youth )

The center provides substance use disorder services for people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (lgbtq) in Los Angeles county. Services focus on crystal methamphetamine abuse. Services include drug use disorder counseling, outpatient drug detoxification, telemental health, and support groups for gay youth. There are no geographic restrictions.

Individual drug use disorder counseling focuses on substance abuse, costs/benefits of use, harm reduction vs. abstinence, safety planning and relapse prevention.

Outpatient drug detoxification is provided through an intense, abstinence-based program that meets three nights per week and is facilitated by professional substance abuse counselors.

Anonymous online chat support is provided by specially trained therapists who can offer advice, recommendations and support.

A drop-in support group are available for youth ages 25 and younger who want to learn how to reduce the harm caused by their use of crystal methamphetamine.
