The agency provides disaster services for people who are deaf or hard of hearing who live in the Greater Los Angeles area. Services include emergency communications, sign language interpreter service and specialized information and referral. There are no geographic restrictions.

The emergency communications services places telephone calls to family members and friends in emergency situations. Specialized information and referral provides referrals to FEMA, Red Cross, health services, shelter, water, food resources and emergency operations sites. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for service.
