Employment Discrimination Assistance

The center provides legal services for low income workers who have faced wage theft, regardless of immigration status, in Los Angeles County. Services include community legal clinics for day laborers, construction laborers and other low-wage workers; employment discrimination assistance and legal representation pertaining to employment wage issues. There are no geographic restrictions.
The center educates workers on strategies and tactics for collecting unpaid wages and empower them to improve their work conditions.
The legal clinic services include recording mechanic's liens for day laborers, construction workers and other low-wage workers including janitors, carwash workers, restaurant workers, garment workers, port truck drivers, residential home care and domestic workers. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information to apply; service is by appointment only. Walk-ins are not accepted. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
