Eviction Prevention Legal Assistance ( TANF Recipients, Abused Women )

The agency provides welfare-to-work support services for battered women who receive or are eligible to receive CalWORKs and live in Los Angeles County. Services include individual advocacy, family law (child custody assistance, child support assistance, dissolution assistance, and establishment of parentage) and crime victim support in obtaining a TRO), landlord/tenant law (eviction assistance and landlord/tenant dispute resolution), legal counseling, case management support, employment law assistance, immigration assistance and legal representation, and case management support. There are no geographic restrictions. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. An appointment is required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
