Ex-Offender Halfway Houses ( Females )


The agency provides ex-offender services for women incarcerated or at risk of being incarcerated in Los Angeles County, as well as women who are struggling with substance use disorder issues. Services include an ex-offender halfway house/Parolee Services Center (PSC) for women parolees. It provides maximized contact and experiences with open society to facilitate the reintegration process and assist clients with self-sufficiency.

The residents are primarily women referred by the California Department of Corrections (CDC) for a period of 90 days. The agency provides in-house substance use disorder and parenting groups for residents; life skills classes, computer support classes, job search and re-entry planning. The house accommodates up to 15 women for an average of 48 weeks. The program also provides advice and referral information to non-resident women who are on parole. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. A referral is required through the prison/parole system to be accepted into the PSC Program. Applicants must interview for a spot in the sober living homes and must be clean and sober for at least 6 months. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees for sober living vary, starting at $400; call for information.
