The office provides inmate services for 61 Southern California correctional facilities, including jails, prisons, and juvenile detention camps. Services include family prison visitation support, and pastoral counseling for families/friends of inmates and for victims of crime. There are no geographic restrictions.

Family prison visitation support is provided for women on Mother's Day at four Southern California correctional facilities: California Institution for Women, Corona; Central California Women's Facility; Valley State Prison, Chowchilla; and Ventura State Prison, Chowchilla.

Pastoral counseling is conducted by clergy and religious chaplains and lay volunteers recruited from faith-based communities, especially Catholic parishes, on a regular schedule of visitation. Families of inmates and victims of crime may contact the Office of Restorative Justice to inquire about the schedule, or about the program. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information.
