The agency is available to participate as a recipient in a food rescue program. Food rescue programs collect unused portions of prepared foods or perishable foods from restaurants, cafeterias, corporate food services, caterers, grocery stores, and special events and deliver food donations directly to agencies (such as crisis shelters, transitional facilities, soup kitchens and homeless shelters) with on-site meal programs. Services are provided to Los Angeles County residents, there are no geographic restrictions. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to arrange delivery. The agency can travel up to 10 miles to receive a food donation. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees. CONDITIONS Agency Transportation Drivers are staff Delivery Accessibility Pick-Up Truck Accessible Straight Truck Accessible Van Accessible Special Meals/Food Prep/Storage Can pick up food shipments Freezer(s)On Site Refrigeration On-Site Serve more than 100 meals per week
