Food Safety Education
Provider: CONSULTING NUTRITIONAL SERVICES FOODSAFE
The agency provides health education for businesses and employees in Los Angeles County. Services include food safety education. There are no geographic restrictions.
Food safety education is available through the Food Safety Audit program which identifies food safety and sanitation issues and provide methods to improve procedures or employee behavior to minimize risk and liability. This program is intended to identify code compliance issues before a health inspector arrives and offer continuing education after ServSafe training.
Additional food safety training programs include on-site training for managers and staff, ServSafe food protection manager certification course, and NSF HACCP manager certification training course.
Services are open to all, and are available to provide Dietary Administrative Support Services (DASS) to Area Agency on Aging (AAA) vendors providing nutritional home delivered meals and congregate meals to the elderly and disabled. Support services include assistance with menu development, food production, safety, and sanitation issues. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees for services; call for information.
