The program provides volunteer opportunities for people 16 years and older in Los Angeles County. Services include food collection and food sorting/packing volunteer opportunities. There are no geographic restrictions.

Volunteers assist with the emergency food program which distributes food to low income people. Volunteers pack groceries, sort and shelve food, repackage bulk items, bag groceries and fill and stock shelves, interview clients, pick-up food from groceries stores or help in other ways. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply for volunteer opportunities. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
