General Paratransit/Community Ride Programs

This program provides transportation services to residents of the City of Covina who are 60 years of age or older, or who have a disability that limits their use of public transit. Services include disability related transportation, general paratransit/community ride programs, medical appointments transportation, and senior ride programs. Travel distance is limited to the City of Covina. Medical trips up to three miles outside of the City of Covina limits are also approved.

Rides are by reservation only, reservations must be made at least a day in advance. Transportation is provided in wheelchair lift-equipped vans. There is a 5 parcel limit for passengers. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for service; reservations are required. Verification of age or disability and residence are required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE The fee for transportation within the city of Covina is $.25 per one-way trip, $2.00 per one-way trip outside of the city limits and to any medical facilities within 3 miles, and $4.00 per one-way trip to Baldwin Park Kaiser and City of Hope.
