The school provides basic education, ESL and specialized courses for adults age 18 and older in Los Angeles County. People may attend to enhance their basic skills to earn a high school diploma, to learn new or to upgrade current computer skills, and for personal enrichment. There are no geographic restrictions.

People who want to earn a high school diploma attend an individualized learning lab which allows them to complete required courses at their own speed. The program also provides instruction for the GED test. ESL classes are available for people who range from beginning to advanced levels of proficiency.

Specialized courses are offered in art, CBET, citizenship, computers, exercise, foreign languages, homemaking and parenting. In addition, the school offers classes which are designed for older adults. APPLICATION PROCEDURE People may call for information about classes and registration dates. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees for most classes and some courses require additional lab fees. There are no fees for basic education, ESL and high school classes.
