The agency provides services for low-income older adults in the Southeast Asian community of Long Beach and surrounding areas. Services include case/care management, computer and related technology classes, health and nutrition education, outreach programs, and recreation activities for socialization. There are no ethnic or geographic restrictions for service. The senior center provides assistance to the elderly Southeast Asians in the Long Beach area. Direct services include medication and counseling, computer classes, injury prevention, nutrition and socialization. Outreach workers visit the elderly in their homes, and also provide case management services to assure that the elderly population has access to health care and other care elements as needed. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information or to apply. Service by appointment only. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
