Health/Disability Related Support Groups ( Stroke )

The center provides services for older adults including Japanese immigrants and Japanese-Americans in Los Angeles county. Services include blood pressure screening, case management, and health/disability related counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.
Health services include the NIKKEI stroke program which provides support groups for people who have had strokes and their families; and free blood pressure screening.
The Supportive Services Program (SSP) provides case management services to assess the physical, psychological, and social needs of older adults age 60 and older to allow more frail seniors to stay in their homes as long as appropriately possible. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply or for information. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for most services.
