Health/Disability Related Support Groups ( AIDS/HIV )

The agency provides services to people of all ages who are living with HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles county. Services include chronic disease self-management programs, disease/disability information, support groups, mental health counseling, individual and group advocacy, needle exchange/harm reduction programs, social events, and wellness programs, which include acupuncture and chiropractic care. The agency is also an open ADA and PrE AP enrollment site. There are no geographic restrictions.

In partnership with several local universities the Being Alive mental health program provides psychotherapy with pre-graduated master%u2019s level trainees and post-graduate associates who are fully supervised by licensed, experienced therapists.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE Visit the agency's website: www.beingalivela.org for information or to download an application. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees to become a client. Some services require a nominal fee, but no one is turned away for lack of ability to pay.
