Home Delivered Meals
Provider: CITY OF SOUTH PASADENA COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT - SOUTH PASADENA SENIOR CENTER
Due to Coronavirus Meals are available as Grab and Go instead of sit down congregate meal. The program is available Monday through Friday from 12:30 pm to 1:30pm. Cost per meal is $3. Seniors age 55 and older who reside in the South Pasadena area and wish to have meals delivered may call the office at 626-403-7360.
The program provides a nutrition program for adults 55 years and older or disabled individuals who live in the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding areas. Services include congregate meals/nutrition sites, and home delivered meals. Home delivered meals are restricted to South Pasadena. Geographic restrictions apply. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Reservations are required; people may walk in for service but are not guaranteed a meal.
People may apply for the home delivered meal service in person or over the phone. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE The fee for the congregate meal is $2.25. Home delivered meals are $2.50 per day.
