Household Safety Programs
Provider: PROVIDENCE TARZANA MEDICAL CENTER
The hospital provides health education and wellness programs for people in Los Angeles County. Services include Breastfeeding; Childbirth Education in Prepared Childbirth; a sibling preparation class: a New Parent Baby Care class and a class for Multiple Birth Parents. The program also provides CPR for infants, household safety education and sign language instruction for infants and toddlers. A support group for bereaved parents who have suffered miscarriage, stillbirth, sudden infant death or child death meets when there are calls for the service. Groups are formed as needed.
