The agency provides advocacy for the Asian/Pacific Islander community in Southern California. Advocacy services include education, impact litigation, policy advocacy, research and technical assistance. The center serves all of Southern California.
The center collaborates with many local organizations to address issues such as race and language discrimination, consumer fraud, workers' rights, human trafficking, domestic violence, housing rights, education access, hate crimes, health justice, immigrant rights, voting rights and demographic data. The agency focuses on Asians/Pacific Islanders, including Muslims and South Asian Americans.
The center also sponsors leadership development training programs, including programs that addresses cross-racial relations and social justice issues. The leadership trainings include both community and school-based programs. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information or to make an appointment; the agency cannot serve walk-ins.
