Individual Counseling ( Veterans, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder )


The agency provides counseling services for adults and youth in Los Angeles County. Services include adolescent/youth counseling, anger management, behavior modification, CPR, first aid, adult/child mentoring for boys, first aid instruction, individual counseling for dual diagnosis and veterans with post traumatic stress disorder, a court-ordered parenting program, parenting skills classes, and substance use disorder counseling. Services are restricted to residents of Compton, Culver City, El Segundo, Gardena, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Los Angeles, Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey, and Westchester.

Special services are available for youth and adults with developmental disabilities, mild intellectual disabilities, and dual diagnosis. A targeted 52-week anger management program is available specifically for clients of the Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center. Substance use disorder counseling includes testing. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Due to COVID-19, all services are being provided remotely. Call to apply; appointments are required for counseling services. ID and proof of age, income, and residence is required. Court paperwork is required for court-ordered services. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees are set on a sliding scale that generally starts at $25; Medi-Cal, Blue Shield and private insurance are accepted for some services.
