The agency provides mental health services for families in the Antelope Valley area. Services include behavior modification, child guidance, developmental assessment, individual and family counseling for families with children age 12 and younger who have Medi-Cal or are Medi-Cal eligible; parenting skills development and parent support groups; and day treatment for children 3 to 6 years of age. Age restrictions apply; there are geographic restrictions for some programs.

Counseling is aimed at children who have severe emotional or mental problems and their families; referrals for other services are provided for less serious emotional issues. In-home services include Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) and wraparound services for more severe cases. Services are provided at two locations. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. Applicants are screened for eligibility by a therapist. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for parent support groups. There are fixed fees for counseling services, which are paid by Healthy Families or Medi-Cal. Individuals must have Healthy Families or Medi-Cal or be Medi-Cal eligible.
