The center provides residential treatment for substance abuse services for veterans in Southern California who have been discharged or released from active military service under conditions other than dishonorable. Services include inpatient alcoholism and inpatient drug abuse treatment facilities. There are no geographic restrictions. The program includes AA meetings, aftercare, detoxification, individual and group counseling, and vocational and rehabiliation programs. The VA contracts with recovery homes in the community where it can place participants who have completed the program for up to two months. Special services are available for women, homeless veterans, and for veterans who have a dual diagnosis. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information or an appointment. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service for service-connected veterans. Fees for veterans who do not have a service-connected injury or condition are set on a sliding scale. Private insurance is accepted.
