Inpatient Medically Assisted Alcohol Detoxification ( TANF Recipients )

The agency provides welfare-to-work support services for CalWORKs recipients who are substance abusers and live in Los Angeles County. Services include inpatient medical alcohol detoxification and drug detoxification. The program also provides outpatient services and special services for women and their children. There are no geographic restrictions.

The inpatient services include medical detoxification under the supervision of physicians and 24 hour care. Psychiatric support includes assessment, medication and psychotherapeutic services.

Outpatient services include group substance use disorder counseling, individual counseling, family counseling and twelve-step mutual support groups.

Special services for women and their children include day treatment, residential and outpatient programs that focus on women's issues. Child care is provided and the agency offers a therapeutic nursery for children. Services may include case management, family counseling, HIV/AIDS education, as well as treatment of eating disorders, sexual abuse and female victims of domestic violence.
