The center offers services for adults of Japanese heritage, age 60 and older, in Los Angeles. Services include information concerning Japanese governmental issues, interpretation and translation services, recreational activities, recreational/leisure/arts instruction, tax assistance, and renter/homeowner forms. There are no geographic restrictions.
The center provides information about and referral to agencies that provide services to meet all types of senior needs including in-home supportive services. It offers classes in art, calligraphy, current events, English, poetry and chess. Other activities include day trips and seminars on varying topics of interest to seniors such as health and nutrition. Fllu shots are given annually. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information about center services. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE An annual membership fee of $25 is required for seniors; there are additional fees for some activities.
