Laundry Facilities

Laundry Facilities

The agency operates a homeless service center for homeless people of all ages. Services include bathing facilities, case/care management, homeless drop in centers, laundry facilities, personal grooming supplies, and soup kitchens. There are no geographic restrictions.

Case/care management services include information and referral to community resources, including shelter referrals, as well as advocacy for public benefits. Case managers may also be able to provide vouchers for individuals looking to obtain a California ID.

People who want a hot morning meal sign up at the center for one of the three meals served at the agency's restaurant for homeless people, the Bread and Roses Cafe. People who sign up regularly can obtain a meal daily. People also sign up to schedule use of the shower or laundry facilities. A change of clothing is usually available for people who come to the center, if needed. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Walk in to sign-up for a hot meal or to use the shower or laundry facilities at the Homeless Service Center. Appointments are made for the following day; the list fills up quickly because services are limited. ID is not required. People who want the hot meal apply at the agency's Homeless Day Center on Rose Ave. Monday through Friday. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
